Samsung Unveils ‘HERA Z20’ Premium OB/GYN Ultrasound System at ISUOG World Congress 2024

Samsung Medison showcases HERA Z20, a new premium ultrasound system for OB&GYN, at ISUOG, considered the most important academic conference in the world in the field of OB&GYN ultrasound.

HERA Z20 further enhances advanced AI diagnostic assistance features to improve the health of women and fetuses. Live ViewAssist™ provides real-time location diagnosis, newly integrated into the HERA Z20. Live ViewAssist™ reduces the time required for measurements and improves accuracy by automatically classifying cross sections and providing measurement results for all OB&GYN quarters.

Live Q-scan and A-Focus™ features have been recently added to the HERA Z20 to provide a more uniform image and sharper image quality. Live Q-scan reduces the noise that appears during ultrasound examinations in real-time, and A-Focus™ provides a clearer image at every scanning depth. Crystal Architecture™, Samsung Healthcare’s proprietary ultrasound imaging technology, also uses an improved second-generation engine to improve image clarity.

HERA Z20 improves user convenience through My HERA™ through the AI ​​diagnostic help feature. My HERA™ as a feature that allows the user to build a personal ultrasound system by setting diagnostic setting values ​​for each type of user in advance, can be customized depending on the user’s preferences.

At ISUOG, Samsung Medison also introduced the SUITE website for the first time with HERA Z20 where the educational content of the Samsung ultrasound system is adhered to. A new website membership registration event will be held to celebrate the launch of SUITE at ISUOG. Samsung Medison will use SUITE to improve access to information of each product feature for domestic and overseas medical professionals and secure the competitiveness of global offerings.

Meanwhile, Samsung Medison pursues the realization of environmentally friendly values ​​based on Samsung’s IT technology from the product development stage by minimizing energy consumption through the analysis of consumer product usage patterns.

HERA Z20 has reduced the product volume by minimizing the number of components by incorporating circuit integration technology mainly used for mobile devices, etc. In addition, packaging and cushioning materials are replaced by 100% recycled paper by optimizing the packing design to withstand heavy loads. on paper, and environmentally friendly recycled plastic materials are used for the body of the system.
